Welcome to my online school for Visual Journaling! I developed Visual Journaling techniques in 1992 as a program for the Epilepsy Society of San Francisco and have been honing my unique methods ever since. To learn more about what is a Visual Journal and why we do it, click here.

I have traveled around the world teaching: Greece, Egypt, Austria, Morocco, Portugal, Mexico, Canada and all over the US. I began teaching online workshops in 2010 and some of those original courses are still available right here; still as beneficial and provoking as when I designed them. I usually go through at least one of these courses myself every year to realign with my journey, question my motivations and discover loving answers through the combination of journal writing with artmaking.

So, grab a cup of tea, pull up a chair, and let's settle into our studios to work at our own pace in our own time. These courses are available eternally; you can always return, always begin again.
